My mother said she knew I was an artist at the age of two simply because I would sit for long periods of time coloring in a sketch book. As a teen art became an escape route from the world around me.

Today my favorite mediums are acrylic paints, pastels and pencil. I enjoy creating pop up books and painting peoples profiles. There is something about the human profile that fascinates me.

 

I’m a graduate of Creative and Performing artist Highschool. I later attended Moore College of Art and Design with a major in Illustration and minor in Fine Arts. I’ve taken summer courses at The University of the Arts and several classes at the Wayne Art Center. Once I graduated there wasn't any jobs in art for me so I started my own business.  First I started out face painting  for several companies so I could learn the business. I did this for nine years until I decided to open my own business. However I didn't return to painting on canvas until quarantine .
